INGREDIENTS

  • 400g can butter beans, drained & rinsed
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. sea salt
  • 1 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp. harissa paste
  • ½ tbsp. smoked paprika

Method:

  • Place all the ingredients into a bowl and stir well to ensure the beans are evenly coated in the mixture.
  • Preheat the air fryer or oven to 200°C. Spread the seasoned butter beans in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding to ensure an even cook.
  • Air fry for 12-15 minutes or on a lined baking sheet for 20 minutes, tossing the beans halfway through the cook, until they are golden and crispy.
  • Once cooked, add any additional seasoning or flavors if desired. Allow the beans to cool completely before transferring them to an airtight container.
